MJ Update

Oh I never thought I would say this in a million years, but I just love going to the doctor's! haha! I love seeing my little baby! Holy cow, what a few weeks does. Our baby is growing so fast! Yes, the doctor know's what we are having...we do not hah! I love that James comes to each appointment with me and supports me through everything. He is such a good husband and I can already tell what a great father he will soon be. When the ultrasound began, the baby was just chillin we were thinking it was actually asleep. Then all of a sudden he/she didn't let us down, it put it's fingers in their mouth, crossed their legs, kicking like crazy! Wonderful feeling, heart rate still very strong and good at 146! Ahhh I just can't wait for him or her to get here!

I go in again in a few weeks and have to do a bigger ultrasound at the radiologist. I think it's the whole 3D ultrasound, sounds really cool, they did warn us to tell the doctor right away we didn't want to know the gender, because they said for sure we would be able to tell! hahah! HILARIOUS! Love it, and love this time in my life!

Jack and Lily

James and I were in the costco last night, and found these adorable baby shoes! I know I know...we don't know what we are having and we are aren't going to until the delivery and we are way tooooo excited! We couldn't pass up the amazing deal and the store told us we can exchange or return the shoes after we have the baby! These were the selections we had made. Oh the joys of little baby boys or little baby girls! Jack and Lily shoes have become a favorite of mine already, sorry James haha!

Dr. Update

So I went to the doctor's again yesterday afternoon. Everything is going great! Baby is growing like a weed and cute as can be! During the ultrasound the baby actually stood straight up on my stomach...it was hilarious! The doctor and us were both laughing so hard! Seriously this baby is sooo active, it wouldn't stop moving. James Jr. for sure hahah!
I'm feeling great, tired but great! Can't wait for spring break! Doc said we can identify gender by April 13th the next time I go in, but we are still deciding to wait!
Life is great for us right now! We are so excited and can't wait to meet this lil guy or gal. We love "it" already!

New News

Campbell's are having a baby! We are sooo excited! James and I went in for our first ultrasound yesterday, and our little baby was moving all around healthy as can be! It was so amazing to see him or her moving around and see it's little heart beating. The doctor originally thought there may have been two of them in there, but then concluded there was just one little baby haha! It took a good couple of minutes though, James went white in the face hahaha! The doctor did comment on how happy and jumpy our baby is, I said it takes after there father, kicking it's legs in every direction and arms moving everywhere on the screen. It was hilarious! I hope the little thing takes it easy...good grief....I'm afriad of what it's going to feel like when I can actually feel him or her in there haha! Can I say ADHD already hahaha!
We are both sooo very happy and excited about the new addition to our family. Our new addition will be here hopefully no later than September 30th. Fall baby! Yep, it's going to be an interesting experience but so far so good! I'm just way happy that the baby is doing fine and is super healthy. Family could not be happier! My dad and mom are going to be first time grandparents. James' parents are thrilled, and brothers and sisters are excited too! Life is good right now!

RIP Felix

Last night on our way to the store James and I were laughing and enjoying our drive until....a flash of black bolted in front of the truck...and seriously in a blink of an eye....we knew what had happened...a black cat had been hit by our truck tires.

There were two responses to this...

Ashley..." Oh that is too bad....poor cat...okay let's go shopping." As some of you already know I am not that fond of cats to me they are creepy and weird. My sympathy wasn't all that much even though I did feel bad that we hit it I'm not that heartless.

James..." OH MY GOSH!!!! AHHHH! Did that just really happen? I feel like crap...I'm turning this truck around! That poor cat has a family Ash, I have killed a family member!!!! AHHHHH.....I feel sooo bad..." and this continues for another thirty minutes as we circle around this cat in the road not knowing what to do with it because we are on one of the busiest roads in Layton.

Then as we almost get to our destination I ask with a sly grin what do you think his name was, midnight perhaps? And before I could even finish my sentence James yells FELIX! We named the cat we killed....and with that...this post is dedicated to poor poor Felix...RIP! haha!

My Little Brother!

I finally got a picture of my brother who is serving a mission right now in Ghana, Africa! Oh I miss him so much, but am so so so excited to see that he is doing well! Love you Shane!!! For those who don't know my brother he is the one in the middle!

Charlie Brown Halloween at the Campbell's

We had a lot of fun on Halloween. James dressed up as Charlie Brown and it was hilarious! He looked great. We had so many cute neighbor kids come to our house all night long. They looked adorable, and were so excited to show James and me their costumes. Some of our good friends from Syracuse and Plain City stopped by to visit and bring their cute boys over! Our neighbors came over a bit later to hang out and have some fun with the chocolate fountain (thanks Linzi) and a movie which to my dismay I fell asleep for probably eighty percent of it! I was wiped out! Sorry guys! However, we did have a good game of Yahtzee...which not to brag or anything but I WON!!! Haha!
