ummm...eventful hospital visit AGAIN

So I went in for my weekly NST on Thursday. Everything went great except the three hour wait. The nurse told me I was having great contractions and the baby was moving beautifully. She said she thinks I will be in to deliver within two to three weeks. I left pretty happy, good results and baby is doing fine.
Well, yesterday my doctor called me from her cell phone pretty late into the afternoon early evening. She said from said lab tests she collected I had become very anemic and my platelets had been dropping significantly. Basically my blood count was too low, she was concerned, and I had a headache I could not shake at all for the past two days and I have been very dehydrated. She ordered another NST for Friday night. James and I made our way to the hospital around 6:45 pm. They took SO MANY tests, could not find the baby's heart at first which freaked the crap out of both James and I, more blood work and wanting to put me on an IV, and a lot of sitting and laying around. By 8 something, the nurse came in and told us that depending on how my blood work came back within fifteen minutes I had a very good chance of having the baby tonight or early morning. I thought I was going to pass out haha! James too! Blood came back and they said luckily I could go home as long as I would be on semi bed rest meaning, I cannot exercise anymore, walk around even the mall or grocery store, no cleaning or lifting anything...basically I am going to be bored out of my freakin mind! I go back to the doctor on Tuesday, hopefully we can get some things straightened out. haha!
All I can say is, I am sorry MOM, this baby is doing exactly what I did to my own mother when she was preggo with me! I cannot believe I caused this much BLAH to her haha! Hopefully I can hold out still and have the baby around the 22-24, we will see! Sorry for the long boring post, I know that family in Oregon and Africa are anxiously waiting to hear what is going on this is mostly for them.

Blessings

Today we went in for yet another doctor's appointment. Further testing has to be done, because the doctor was concerned of me being in pre term labor. Everything came back good, just a sore back and tummy. Blood was drawn which is nothing new to me now, doesn't even hurt anymore haha. Blah blah blah...all the usual stuff. Swollen feet and fingers, extra poundage from extra water, boy could I complain anymore....BUT
I sat in the car with my wonderful husband after the long appointment and felt the over whelming feeling of gratitude and happiness. I was given the most amazing opportunity to carry and be pregnant with my own baby. What a joy this pregnancy really has been for both James and I. We are on the downhill stretch now, only having four weeks to go probably. I wouldn't change a thing, I wouldn't change any sore pain or any blood prick nothing because I know that Heavenly Father gave me a blessing, and she will be here very shortly. Looking at her on the ultrasound screen brings tingles to me, excitement, and eternal love. We just want her to get here healthy and happy. So no matter what you here is going on in my pregnancy realize, I am happy and willing to do whatever it takes, because I am blessed. She is totally worth everything. I am the lucky one for sure.

#2

So I went to the hospital again today for NST # 2! Baby is looking healthy and I survived another week! Going to the doctor again Tuesday, we will know more, but looking like I will survive another pregnancy week! Woohoo! My mom booked her airline ticket and we are getting ready for the countdown. Also my other family members are probably going to make the big drive just for one day to see that lil' rat, and hold her for just one day. My family is the best, I can't wait to see them and for them all to meet my lil' baby! This has been a looong but good week. I am counting my blessings.
